Emomali Rahmon who is the the president of Tajikistan has sent a message of condolence to President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif after the deadly terrorist attack in Islamabad.
In the message he offered prayers for the victims of the attack and also highly condemned the attack and said that terrorism in all its forms must be rejected. He emphasized on the need for continued efforts to counter terrorism and stated that during this difficult time Tajikistan stands with Pakistan.
President Asif Ali Zardari thanked Mr. Rahmon for his message. On X he wrote that Pakistan values Tajikistan’s stance against terrorism and added that both countries remain united in rejecting this menace and in remembering the innocent lives lost in the Islamabad attack.
